I Am Now 23...!
Mar. 5th, 2006 11:49 pmHey!
Just when I thought my life was getting a bit staid and dull... along came this week!
I had an absolutely awesome weekend.
I could just leave it at that but a fair few things happened, I wasn't feeling too great Friday afternoon, there was a lot of hassle sorting it out, things were gonna be late, it was snowing etc... but it was definitely worth it in the end!
Sof brought so much stuff with her that I thought she may have been moving in a few months later than expected! I really enjoyed Satan's after a bit of a wanky start regarding tunes, they played loads of decent stuff. It was also good to dance for a change!
Apparently, I ended up necking Sharon for a bit, can't really remember (a common feature of me and girls really!) and in the taxi back we were calling the taxi driver a "coon" and asking him if he loved the taste of cock. The driver was Asian.
We aren't racist, we just love the shock value of naughty words. At least that is what I will say in court anyway.
The weekend also confirmed what I knew anyway, I much prefer the organised chaos of living with other people. It's fantastic to be able to get up and chat to the people you had just had a cracking night out with! It's even better if they are as non-PC as me! Rarely have so many racist/dirty/downright offensive jokes been made in such a short space of time!
I made the schoolboy error of taking Sof near shops on the Saturday as I had to go meet Hannah; who was then subsequently delayed for 6 hours or so and had to meet me in Sinclair's later anyway. She also got offered a chance to snort coke with a seedy bloke while drinking in the train station! She politely said no!
We had a nice greasy fry up in Night and Day (seriously check out their food!) with John, Sofi's mate who is a funny fella.
Finally said hello to my Mum at 6PM on my birthday, she went out for a hair appointment before I got up and came back when I was shopping. There was just time for a barm before I headed back off out for the indie night.
Another great night ensued, tequila as your second drink generally does that! Hannah's card was hysterical! I also loved the Oil of Olay as a present with "Because you're wrinkily, old and nobody wants to have sex with you anymore...!" scribbled on the side of the box! Got a fair bit of drunken-dancing-like-a-twat-dancing in! Han stole some guy's trilby! Then I got chucked out of a club by the bouncers for the first time ever! Rightly so as well, some bloke stole a drink off me, I asked for it back, he refused so I punched him 3 or 4 times in the face. Hmmmm, time to go then. We went back and swam for a bit! Han still didn't believe there was a pool till she saw it "Come on Jeffers, you are really common!?" No Barrymore-esque incidents happened! Not even taking of coke! Passed out at 4ish.
I hope to God the photos turned out alright.
The Lions forced me to kick everyone out stupidly early (1.30PM!) I was kind of hoping the match would be off so I could just hang out and maybe watch my new Team America DVD or summat! Bloody gay undersoil heating at Bloomfield Road.
Despite writing out the most amount of notes I have probably ever done at a Swinton match, the report took the longest time ever! Two massive sessions DOES have an effect on your brain then?!
Had a lovely birthday meal with my family, Paul and Vausey typically came round unannounced when I wasn't there! Balls! Had a chat on the phone with them anyway, they thought I had been arrested. Maybe I was close to that happening. My right hand is fucking shagged! Maybe that dude had a hard face...
Seriously though, I had an utterly great weekend, I feel truly loved and had an unforgettable time (well the bits the alcohol hasn't removed. Cheers to everyone (in no particular order) who turned up or had decent excuses and couldn't make it... Hope my raging alcoholism didn't scare or hurt anyone other than my right hand and some thieving twat...! So, thanks to: Vausey, Paul, Kezza, Liz, Sof, Sharon, Nat, Johnson, Han, Andy T , Sarah, Daz, Keir, Taz, Danny 1, Danny 2, Nikki 1, Nikki 2, Big Gay Al, Hobson, Joe, Jess, Crowe, Rob W, Rob P, Rob D, Kate, Boy Tony, Girl Toni, (LJ) Sarah, Sara, Beeb, Charlie, Rick, Ange, Linda, Salford Katie, Manc Katie, Neil, Helen, Firbs, Ben, Susan, all of Sofi's HMV homies, the HR board crew and to my wonderful Mum and Dad for letting me have people stay and being generally great!
Thank you and goodnight! Love you all! It's been brilliant!
