Being Ill On A Friday Night Isn't Great..!

But at least you get an update! Anyway, some remarks that are as clear as my head upon this situation...

1. Big Brother is irrelevant.
2. My cold has appeared to have reached the 'dry nose' stage before clearing up after earlier being in the 'gallons of liquid snot dripping out of my nose stage', which was fun in work!
3. I picked up a crate of spare beer and didn't want to drink it!
4. Toni named some, maybe all of the place names on Super Mario Kart!
5. Manchester has a similar climate to the Amazon Rainforest at the moment. Minus the heat and the sunshine.
6. I want the tremendous cover of 'Boys of Summer' to play on this album now!
7. Dean's ex-girlfriend Sophie is one of the top 2 biggest cunts I've ever met.*
8. The Gaslight Anthem are fantastic.
9. So are the Leeds Festival pictures!
10. Speaking of that, Leeds Festival posts to come when I'm feeling better and can reel off metaphors like Liam Gallagher ripping off Beatles songs. Oh aye, he's not even doing that anymore...

And finally, things are not that bad, I could have been laid off like one person on my F-list today, he's being positive and so should I! I'll beat this bog-standard non-animal related flu/cold whatever!

Get Your Shopping Done Before Christmas, Only Quarter Of A Year To Go..!

I saw the first advert promoting stuff for Christmas yesterday September 4th at abround 6PM in the Co-op shop on Barlow Moor Road in Chorlton!

It was white chocolate ball things (a pretty tenuous link to Christmas as it is!) but what's the point when there are 111 shopping days till the celebration?!

I'm not massive on Jesus or going to rant about heartless corporations contaminating our favourite son of Jesus' holiday, that's obvious enough as it is but we're all going to spend too much on Christmas. People are going to borrow from friends, banks and loan sharks, all in the aid of this day. I bet the Three Wise Men didn't do that! So why should you?!
