How To Fail A Driving Test Parts 6+7..!

So I've managed to fail two more driving tests recently..!

I actually invested in a crash course, which went really well, I am improved massively as a driver but I still panicked slightly in the test. Despite this, I got a pretty decent 7 minor faults but also one major one yet again!

However, I then changed driving instructors on the sly to the guy who did the crash course and then continued to improve event though I was only having 1 hour lessons every fortnight instead of 2 hours every week with the previous instructor!

Test number 7 came along, I did the two manouevres perfectly without any minors (parallel park and turn in the road), I only got 3 minors listed below:

Progress - Appropriate speed - 1
Awareness - Planning - 2

But STILL managed to make 1 major fault for changing lanes too close to the car behind at a roundabout, arrrghhhhh!

Despite this, I'm a more confident and crucially, better driver than ever before! Number 8 is already booked..!

Great Good God And Other Such Phrases..!

So, the vast majority of British people are idiots. Or maybe they are just selfish? It would kind of explain why so many people in the UK sit around bitching and moaning about other people and wonder why someone else isn't doing something about it!

In case you are wondering what I am on about, the British General Elections happened yesterday and we elected the right wing Conservatives who didn't gain a majority but did offer the Liberal Democrats a chance to form a government with them:

Although at least the fascist BNP and UKIP parties were left empty handed and the Greens secured their first MP:

However, in my surviving-on-3ish-hours-sleep-halfcrazed state I can see a positive side... Doesn't this hung parliament encourage the Lib Dems to join with the Tories and push through proportional representation legislation?

The Tories know that they would have won the last 2 elections with it in place and the Lib Dems would have had won loads more seats in both elections? This could be a very good thing!

In mine, I was lucky, I voted for Liberal Democrat John Leech in Manchester Withington and he trebled his majority despite some very negative (but sadly accurate campaigning from Labour about the Tories entering power..!)

Yes!

Although I enjoy the X-Files and reading about forteana, it is not these things that make me believe that there is alternative life out there somewhere amidst the billions of other galaxies.

It would be rather presumptious, given the size of the universe to assume that we are the only species out there, based solely on the fact that they've not come down, shared technology and agreed to do a tour of the US Chat Shows talking about their world to the Earth masses!

I do believe that people have seen extra terrestrial life (or at the very least, versions of ourselves, when we've evolved into very different looking beings with far superior technology) and that many people have been abducted and cows cut up using very precise lasers. Or in the case of some poor bovine victims in Argentina, nearly a couple of dozen of them have been stuffed into a water silo!

Personally, I've seen something I cannot explain, it was above the skies of Southern Spain whilst on holiday when I was 12. Me and my sister were packing to leave the following day when a light we could see clearly from the balcony in the clear evening sunshine, hovered above a hill roughly 5-10 miles away from the coast.

It stayed there for roughly twenty minutes in plain view, planes can't hover and it certainly didn't look like a balloon or helicopter.

Then, it shot off from a standing start, in a Westerly direction along the hills, from being 5 miles away, it was within a minute completely out of sight. Far beyond any acceleration I have seen from any human plane.
