Just a brief post this one, apologies for that but I have a genuine reason why. One of Toni's recent purchases for the flat is a slow cooker, nearly eight hours ago, she put in a delicious shoulder of pork into it, smothered it in herbs, onions and spices and has let it cook all day.
The end result of this has been that we have been able to concentrate on little else and also eaten ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING that we have got our hands on today, as the pork smells so incomparably tasty!
Salted vinegar peanuts, frosty fancy cakes, Jaffa cakes, all delicious and all now gone, because we had a small lunch and breakfast to leave room for this treat that will soon be ready!
I get it, it is supposed to be there for sticking stuff in before you go to work and then when you return, a tasty meal is ready and there to eat, it's a wonderful premise!
However, if you're in all day, it backfires massively! Any advice on how to combat this? If you're a slow cooker owner, or just if you possess more self-control than us? Thanks!
It has meant less writing and more watching ludicrous videos like this instead:

Now for the PDC World Darts Final, so excited about this! Me and Toni have got addicted to this over the past few weeks! I fancy 16 time World Champion Phil Taylor, Toni reckons that close underdog Gary Anderson will upset him! GAME ON! Enjoy the last remnants of your weekend, folks!
