RIP - Castle Irwell
Jul. 8th, 2015 10:55 pmI've been meaning to do a post about this for a few weeks now, this is because my old Uni got in touch to let us know they were doing a special event before knocking down the Halls I spent my first and second years in.
I'm playing Jimmy Eat World's 'Bleed American' as it was one of the first tracks I really got into that a lot of my mates I grew up with hated and I (and a lot of my Uni mates) loved! I also bought the album on the morning of 9/11, which happened weeks before I went to study, the album was called 'Bleed American' of all things...
Anyway this was a surprisingly emotional trip and it dredged up a whole load of old memories, even though it looks like me gadding about round some dilapidated buildings.
