30 Minutes' In, This Is Alright..!
Oct. 3rd, 2016 12:49 amLast week couldn't have been that much more of a drag (but it ended on a high!) and the first half an hour or so of this week has been pretty pleasant.
In short, my phone and car broke and there are unresolved issues with both the house move and the College course, it's been a week full of tasks that should take a few minutes taking hours!
Oh and then to top it all, I had to phone the Police earlier on to fill out a Crime Report, it felt innocuous at the time but when I was walking away from a birthday party in Manchester on Saturday night, two men quite sharply asked me to "Get in the taxi!" then moved towards me. I reacted instinctively by not taking their shit and pushed passed them, there was surprisingly, little in the way of resistance.
After one glance back to see nothing untoward happening, I text my friends and did a Facebook status about it. Several concerned comments later, I was convinced to report to the Police.
The more I think about it, the stranger it seems. If it was some pissed 'joke' between the two fellas, it's a pretty callous joke. If they were endeavouring to get me in the taxi, what was it for? To split the taxi? To rob me? Or worse? Would the taxi driver have allowed that? Was it even a taxi driver?! Why no reprisals when I said no? I expected at least a few choice curse words but nothing, even though I said something to them. Were they banking on someone 'freezing' or did they (as I have long hair) think I was a very large girl walking alone in the darkness?!
Hell, was it even a narrow escape from 'The Pusher' (#thepusher - http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/serial-killer-dubbed-the-pusher-7204892 - if you've not heard of the phenomenon in Manchester)?! Very unlikely, I'm aware but my mind has a pretty wide rein on conspiracy theories!
It all brings up many more questions than appear to be plausibly answered in one cogent narrative, your thoughts are very much welcome!
Here's to a better week this anyway, I'm safe and sound and open to it!
