Shrooms... *Contains Spoilers*

Continuing the film related posts of late, has anyone seen Shrooms?

I watched it last night and I thought it was brilliant (with the exception of Jack Huston/Jake's Irish accent which was comical!)

I love a film that has multiple explanations for the ending. Did she kill them all as she was mental? Did she kill them all because of the story she heard while high and the different mushrooms sent her mental or did the hooded Irish fellows do it, she escaped and she hallucinated all the murder scenes as she felt guilty for surviving?!

Cracking film plus it was Irish written, filmed and funded so give it a look!

Ok, so tonight wouldn't have been the ideal night for a game of football at 10.15PM in the evening with the temperature tipping minus 4 degrees up here in icy Manchester!) but I was still keen to play!

Although it doesn't reflect entirely well on my team, we've collected 15 points this season from 12 games, 4 wins (worth 3 points and 10-0 on the goal difference) have been forfeits by the opposition. Just once have we been unable to raise a team, so out of 12 games, we have only played 7, losing 6 and winning 1!

Why is it so difficult for a professional sports complex to run leagues where the 8 teams are of an equal standard and turn up every week? We used to pay £25 for 60 minutes of football, these days, it is £35 for 40 minutes. Possibly, just possibly, it's the prices..!
