So much for point 13 below about getting healthier in the New Year...:

Just 5 days into 2009 and Toni has tonsillitis! We had to venture down to that 'Land Before Time' also called Eccles today to get a prescription for penicillin for a week for her! Apparently, some pus on her tonsil could have popped if we left it any longer!
Plus, I never got round to restarting my swimming today, I'm promising myself that I will do it tomorrow AS WELL AS playing football! Which should be an absolute joy in minus three or whatever degree temperatures at 10.15 in the evening! My Uncle Maurice said "No pain, no gain when it comes to anything to do with fitness." He's right. However, it always gets easier.
At least I did some applying for jobs.
Then there was the caper at the bank, it turns out the pin number to go with my new card that I've been waiting weeks for was never sent! It was never sent as I should have just carried on using the old one despite being told otherwise last week. What a tremendous waste of time!
Looking at the positives though, I've now been able to book a new driving test for February 12th at Cheetham Hill and resubscribe to Rock Sound now it's sorted! Woo!
