Me and Toni are having a day off today, which I think we're entitled to, given that it'll probably the be the last day to properly chill out before Leeds Festival! We've done very little and eaten takeaway chicken, nom!

We can do this, content in the knowledge that [livejournal.com profile] thelma_viaduct has lost a stone and a half and I've lost nearly 2 stone, (9lb in the past month!) and am down to 15 stone and 3lb!

It's even more chilled out than expected as we've just taken a 3 hour impromptu nap mid-entry and have woken up in time to watch the Athletics this evening!

This is possibly due to her decision to wake up at 8.30AM (on a Sunday where I went to bed at 4AM!) to chose to donate clothes to charity, which is a truly staggering, momentous moment, believe me! 26 items of clothing, no less! All her clothes may now fit in the wardrobe!

So, some points on the Olympics, which we've watched most of the day!

1. I would have thought that we would have a genetic height advantage over the Japanese in the women's volleyball (particularly given that the British number 18 Grace Carter is an absolute giant!), not so though as we lost and exit in the group stage!

2. The 55KG male wrestlers look like midgets and hence are terrifying.

And finally, 3. females boxed for the first time in the Olympics ever today, which now means that only one sport in the Olympics remains allowing just one gender to compete... Synchronised Swimming, which means the Olympics is officially sexist in favour of women! Disgusting ;)!

Oh and we've just been sorting out our 'Save A Date' invitations for the wedding party in January, if anyone wants one on here, PM me with an address!
