I Fucking Love A Thunderstorm..!
Jun. 8th, 2016 12:41 amI'm in a weird mood, I want to listen to two things at once,
deadlevel has possibly made me concede in my head what a great band 'The Bronx' are while Manchester has just been hit by a deluge of water; proper thunder and lightning, which illuminates the entire room for a second or two then the thunder that rumbles on more than one of my Dad's farts!
I love the feeling of release of energy (I mean the storm, not my parents' bumburps!), the air and atmosphere just has something extra and I revel in it.
Sadly, I'm also up and conscientiously listening to The Bronx on headphones, as I'd rather be up than keeping Toni up and her consequently kicking me, through something that is no fault of my own, namely snoring. Has anyone got any advice for reducing it?
I'm grafting to get back down to my marriage weight again, as it's flaring up once more. The Doctors did mention an operation once but it would take up to six months to recover from it, it shouldn't come to that, should it?! I'm as sick of it as she is (but she'd never believe me saying that) partly as I can sleep through most things (such as my fucking snoring!) but I've passed out facedown on a nightclub dancefloor before and I could probably fall asleep with a band playing in a basement around me, if I was drowsy...
