Today, we put up our mini bedroom Christmas tree, it's a wooden one from Paperchase and is adorned by lots of twee carved snowmen, santas and most bizarrely, a house!

Also, if you want a Christmas card, send us a message! I've even got time to do it this year, due to being unemployed from the 10th of December!

Christmas is still going to be great though!

2009 wasn't that bad, all in all, definitely better than 2008 but I'm hoping for brilliance in 2010!

1. 3rd anniversary with Toni - I still couldn't be happier! Finding a fluffy kitten umbrella to win the twee off was pretty awesome too!

2. Leeds 2009 - This time with the 'Rapey Rapey Posse' comprising of me, Toni, Stevo, Chris, Blondie, Natalie (briefly) and "Stevo the Invisible Mexican Rapist!" "Cuntcannon!" "Whose womb? Toni's womb!" The cliches we created do go on..! Fantastic weekend and company, loved every minute and we will be back next year! - http://jeffthelion.livejournal.com/147734.html

3. Friends returning - Neil, Katie, Jolene, Beth and Pottsy all returned from lengthy foreign stints this year, it's great to have them back and to see they've not changed but improved, maing themselves happy and rich with experiences. Hopefully we'll be copying them in a way but going somewhere different pretty soon!

4. 2 weeks on the wagon - A whole fortnight without alcohol is an achievement I didn't think I'd make, particularly when Toni allowed me to partake since she hadn't upheld her end of the bargain in replying to all her texts over the fortnight!

5. Dad and The Patriots - Helping (he wouldn't have gone by himself if it was on TV!), nay coaxing even, my Dad to see the New England Patriots play live at Wembley versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It's probably something he won't get the chance to do in his lifetime again and to see his face during the game was fantastic!

6. Moving to Chorlton - A great decision, this area of Manchester is more designed for young people and I'm really comfortable living with Toni, Adam, Emma, Michael and Ed.

7. Gym - I didn't expect to enjoy it, on the face of it, it shouldn't be enjoyable but I liked the gym as well as the pool and when this bastard cold subsides, I will go again and also renew my subscription!

8. Council - Working for Manchester Council may not be the most exciting or glamorous job in the World but it's been quite rewarding to help get kids into school and foreign people settle in this country and they've been loyal with good pay to me, what's to complain about?!

9. The parties, sexy parties..! - The parties we've had at our new place (and the gatherings at my Mum and Dad at Christmas and Superbowl where much vodka was sunk!) have been uniformly brilliant!

Toni may disagree about the one with the Goldschlager inspired vomiting but we've both done silly stuff - dress up as cavemen and women, I've dressed as Thatcher and also exposed myself indoors to a number of people..!

Meeting new people like Blondie and Chris (properly!), Will and Danielle, the new gay Martin!, Lisa and all the LJ people I've added this year has been great too! Being back on really good terms with Kate after all the shit with the last house and Rob, Fella after the "Yer, Mam!" wedding capers, is also important too!

10. Ben getting a girlfriend - It did his confidence the world of good and God knows, he's a lovely fella who deserves a fantastic girl!

11. Mum and Dad's 40th - My Mum and Dad celebrated 40 years together in 2009 and to be able to treat them to an anniversary meal and buy them an enlarged, colour version of their wedding photo which now sits centrally on their dining room sideboard made me very happy!

12. Chicken heart?! - I ate not one, not two but three of those in 2009!

13. Shaving - Incredibly, prior to last year, I had never shaved my face with a non-electric shaver after a few lessons off Toni oddly, I did the deed and am now quite proficient at it! Next year, maybe I'll do a tie!

14. Football management - I was a bit apprehensive about returning to manage "200 Stones of Power" but the response from the lads has been superb, we've been playing well (if not picking up the wins through playing!) and many want to play every week. I've really enjoyed football this past year!

15. Take that, theory test! - My current record of Driving Theory Tests is 2/2, my current record of Driving Practical Tests is 0/5. Hopefully, the Crash Course that is now set in place will finally get this huge, fat weight off my back!

And a (dis)honourable mention, I wouldn't want to associate her with the good in anything but Toni's brother's ex-girlfriend and disgrace of a human life, Sophie left the country for Canada having shown that she is not a human being but a parasite. Don't come back!

Here's last year's ecstasy:

I think I've just won the twee off! Unless you are so twee, you've got the same thing, which you probably are, so it might be a draw..!
