Look Close At The Metro..!

I know it was a week or so ago but tabloid scaremongering like really annoys me, North Korea TESTED a Nuclear weapon they created underground with absolutely no one killed (as far as we know!) and the Metro's leading headline was:

"North Korea test 'like Hiroshima'"

I'm sorry but a test is not like an actual deployment of a Nuclear weapon, yes it's similarly sized but to word the copy like that is to spread fear.

Good to see the international community has reacted with a great deal of words not action as ever. Do they want North Korea to have nuclear weapons or not? If they don't, we'd better start working on some kind of plan to disarm them, if not, we'd better welcome them to the nuclear club...

Oasis have been playing a gig at Heaton Park in Bury tonight (and for the 3 previous nights as well), which according to Google Maps is 9 miles away from me here in Swinton.. and we can still hear them! Imagine if they had Slayer on instead?!

It's Embarrassing To Be Northern At Times..!

Before the full horror of how many BNP, UKIP and Tory candidates have been voted in during the European Elections in Britain comes out tomorrow (particularly up North..) I'll say this and I'll keep this brief, I'm watching the BBC2 coverage now and the Labour and Conservative politicians are reacting to this with horror and disgust, they are saying that the voters are getting it wrong, not one of them is saying that the mainstream politicians are getting it wrong, it's never THEIR fault and that is why the extremists are getting our votes...
